One day on the coast of California

Checking out the Point Lobos and the natural bridges in Santa Cruz – Travel log no. 34

After an extensive breakfast in the hostel Domenic and I drove off to check out Point Lobos. The weather was gorgeous. So we had a good time driving top-down and listening to tunes.

The Point Lobos itself is beautiful too. There are cliffs and boulders along the coast and the mountains in the back appeared hazy with the shining sun.

We had good BBQ afterwards and then I had to spend some time on cleaning my car. I was able to organize my luggage and should be able now to take my flight to Hawaii tomorrow.

I drove the Highway 1 up north again and checked out the natural bridges in Santa Cruz.

Until sunset I was just hanging out on the beach deep in thoughts and watched some kids surfing.

After the sunset I drove back to the hostel and did some photo editing. The night was disturbed by somebody snoring like an elephant, but I still got a good amount of sleep.

I will need it. Today I will have to sell my car and get everything ready for my flight overseas.
