Exploring Los Angeles and time to say good bye

About Bar Life in LA and traveling to Long Beach – Travel log no. 29

After checking into the hostel in LA we met up with our Peruvian roommates. We had a couple of beers at Craftsmen and learned more about their lives in Lima. Hope to see them again at some point and we can visit Machu Picchu together.

The next day I even met more people during breakfast. A lot of Germans stayed at the hostel.

We checked out left our luggage at the hostel and went to the Santa Monica Peer.

We walked a little bit around the Peer, but Eric had to catch his flight home at 2pm. So we picked up the car and luggage and left soon after.

I dropped Annika and Eric off at the airport and had my first In-n-Out Burger. The burger was good but the fries were a little bit over fried for my taste.

Afterwards I met up with my host. He has a job interview tomorrow, so he just watched some TV.

I went out for a little work out. On the way back I took this picture of the sunset in the streets of Long Beach.

Probably I have to stick around for another day. Even though I would love to travel on. I got to fix up my car and I still need to wait for a check with my tax refunds. Can’t wait to finally make it to San Francisco.
