Driving through hilly valleys to Coorong National Park

More off-road driving and heading back to the ocean – Travel log no. 60

Slowly we made our way through the desert. With the passing meters also the landscape of the desert changed.

Broughton’s Waterhole marks the end of the Little Desert, for those who made it through.

From there we made it straight over the border to South Australia. Finally we made it to the State of our destination, Adelaide.

On our way back to the ocean we came through this beautiful valley during sunset.

A beautiful valley with the sun gaping over the horizons.

We saw some eagles and animals which could be bucks or antelopes. When you think it cannot get any better you come into the next valley which greets you with an even more beautiful view.

A couple minutes later the sun is just a red fireball over the horizons which sets everything in a gold light.

We came over a lake with black swans and followed the Cantara Rd straight to the Ocean. There we set up camp. I was able to set up my hammock in a little shelter. Even though it was raining heavily I had an easy night of sleep.
