Racing the F1 in Long Beach
Partying in Long Beach and checking into selling my car – Travel log no. 30
My last week on the main land of America has started. Next week Wednesday I am going to fly over to Hawaii. So it’s time to figure out what to do with my car.
Therefore I spend the morning with cleaning my car a little bit. I got kicked out of Walmart, because somebody threatened to nuke the place with a bomb. But the evacuation went pretty smooth.
Afterwards I brought my car to Carmax to get an estimate. They would be happy to buy my car for $200. So if anybody in Cali needs a car let me know, I would be happy to gift it to you!
Well I also set up an add on Craiglists for SF area, maybe I will find somebody or I just run it over a cliff for the fun of it.
Afterwards I drove downtown and took a picture of the historical Queen Marry and the harbor. The location is also one of the places where the F1 race takes place. So I was driving the racetrack with my $200 racer.
Around 4pm I met up with my host for the main event of the day. Getting wasted, that’s the main reason why he invites people over. Well, it was fun, we listened to some tunes and had a couple of drinks. No better way to get over political borders. Maybe Trump and Hillary should have just met up for some drinks and listening to Toto and the world would be already a better place.
Well we also went out to the bars and ended up back at his place where we had some more beers. The next day I woke up on an air mattress, apparently I passed out on the carpet in the bathroom at some point of the night.
Today I am driving up to San Francisco. Looking forward to meeting my host and getting to see the city again.

Is it just me or does it look like the Queen Mary is listing to starboard? What destruction have you left in your path?

Haha, apparently that’s how the ships looked like in the path, no extra editing happened from my side.

Sorry I didn’t know you were stopping in LB. I could have had you contact my nephew Jim there. He lives right near where you photographed the listing QM.
